Mgr. Ing. Tomáš Zuda

 

Tomas was born and spend most of his life in Prague. He studied Prague School of Economics and psychology at Charles University. He is working in the field of psychotherapy and personal development, coaching and trining of managers in different organizations. He has met Maria Montessori together with his wife Lucie when their daughter started to attend International Montessori School of Prague at Roztyly. This approach to children and its influenco on their development had led them to decision to start this Montessori school – not only for their own, but other children.

 

Ing. Lucie Zuda Ph.D

 

Lucie comes from south Bohemian town Slavonice and now she is taking care of two kids. She studies finance and management of NGO’s, later she received master degree at Prague Technical University and doctoral degree at the same school. Before maternity leave she was teaching at the Faculty of Construction. She gained many experiences being part of a group that started and organized Family Centre at Kampa, Prague 1. There she worked as teacher of pre-school children and culture manager. In her younger years she was organizing summer camps and other activities for kids. From 2007 she is interested in Montessori approach. In August 2010 she graduated from training “Montessori philosophy and curriculum for the 0-3 and the 3-6 yr old child” led by Sr. Carolinopu Gomez del Valle and Dorothy Paul. In March 2012 she completed course Montessori pedagogic acredited by MŠMT and organized by Společnost Montessori o. s.

 

” I wish deeply that our children and other kids remembered their pre-school years as time when they had chance to discover the world and be themselves. It was this wish that led us to start our pre-school. I hope that our school will help children understand their lives, their needs and that it will help them make their own world more colorful.”
