The methodology of work and the materials are divided into 5 areas:

 

Practical life exercise

 

– develop motorical skills, working habits, and relationship towards oneself and the environment (self-reliance in dressing and hygiene,
preparing snakes, dining, household maintenance, caring for plants, animals, being polite and so on)

Smyslová výchova

 

Sensory education

 

– works with materials dedicated to refinement of senses (touch-boards, tactile fabrics with different degree of abrasiveness,
sound boxes with different sounds, weight and temperature cylinders, differentiation of colors, tastes and so on.)

 

Language education

 

– develops speech and dictionary, ability to listen, understand, and express ones own ideas, feelings and sensory experiences
prepares foundations for writing, reading (assigning objects to pictures, storytelling following pictures,
writing with fingers to sand and so on.)

 

Mathematics

– develops notion of accuracy and differences, perception and discrimination of dimensions, ratios and forms
through sensory experiences and working with hands it creates subconscious knowledge of mathematical laws so that the child experiences joy from math
and later be able to assign numbers to relations known by hands

Cosmic education

 

– includes natural science, geography, astronomy, biology, history, physics and chemistry. Using illustrative materials
and practical experiments it helps the child to understand the world in context of natural laws (projects on universe Kosmická výchova
and Solar system, natural forces, knowing animals, plants, taking care of the nature)
